Karen Perl Teaching Artist

I am primarily a representational painter, working in both oils and watercolors. I have I am primarily a representational painter, working in both oils and watercolors. I have a BFA from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. I have studied and painted in Dublin, Ireland, and in the South of France. I teach drawing and painting at various art centers and privately in my studio. I have lived and painted in. In my current work I am exploring the cityscape, working from photographic images, memory, and imagination.
