Miguel Del Real Teaching Artist

Miguel A. Del Real combines elements and styles from graffiti art, pre-Columbian and Indigenous designs, as well as calligraphy in his work.  He often creates a fusion of black and white patterns, contrasted with colorful stylized lettering or images. Miguel works with adolescents developing and facilitating art projects that focus on cultural awareness and self-identity; and he is native to Chicago’s Little Village Community and a resident of Pilsen.
