Artist Biographies
    
Orlando Camacho
Born in Mexico, transplanted to Chicago, Orlando Camacho grew up within the rich cultural arts neighborhood of Pilsen and painted. Camacho’s love for graffiti, public art, and street art has grown to be a major influence in his work, well reflected in his unique illustrated self-portrait series.

Camacho studied Communications Design at Pratt Institute located in Brooklyn, New York and will be completing his Bachelors of Fine Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this fall.

Ricardo Gamboa
An actor, multi-media artist and avid arts-educator in his native Chicago. As an actor, Ricardo Gamboa has appeared on several stages across town and worked with such theater notables as Sean Graney, Ron OJ Pearson and Joyce Piven. He is a Company Member of Barrel of Monkeys and Chicago Improv Festival’s resident ensemble, Storybox.

A compulsive image-maker, Gamboa works primarily with collage, painting, photography and screen-printing to produce works that interact with people beyond galleries, in public space, to comment on our larger social systems, relations and history. As a teaching artist, Gamboa has worked with over 2000 young people in Chicago Public Schools, after school programs and community arts organizations/outreach centers.

Mandukhai Kaylin
Mandukhai Kaylin was born in Mongolia, moved to Chicago at the age of nine. While attending Lincoln Park High School, she attended classes at Marwen during her senior year. Upon high school graduation, Kaylin went on to study at DePaul University for two years. Currently Kaylin attends Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Photojournalism.

Josué Pellot
Pellot was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, and resides in Chicago. He received his BFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and his MFA from Northwestern University, Evanston Illinois. Pellot works in various mediums, such as painting, screen-printing, video and sculpture. His most recent work explores Transmigration, social structures, and contemporary identity.
