In this combination art-making and career exploration class, you’ll create autobiographical, mixed-media artwork that captures your future goals. You’ll travel to exciting sites to meet professionals in the arts. If you are ready to think about your future in a creative way, then this is for you!

Use digital photography, cyber-images, and hand drawn sketches to make posters and t-shirts featuring your own artwork. You’ll focus on social themes and collage techniques, bringing multiple elements together into finished and functional pieces of art!

Be an explorer on an urban safari! You’ll use a 35mm camera and darkroom techniques to document your vision of the city in this intermediate photography course. Your final project will feature a black-and-white print of your city travels and experiences.

Have you ever wanted to make an interactive book? Starting with the basics of pop-up engineering, you’ll build different kinds of useful forms. Next, you’ll learn experiment with ways to lift and move these forms. Finally, your artwork will be combined with that of others to make a fully realized pop-up book!
