MARWEN LAB PROGRAM
Katie Rodrigues, Carl Sweets, Liz Chisholm
Grades 10–12
Fridays, 4:30-7pm

Are you dedicated to your art? Do you have ideas for your own art projects? Do you want to dive deep into a specific art discipline such as Sculpture, Painting/Drawing, Mixed Media, Photography, or Digital Media? Will you be in grades 10-12 this coming fall? If you answered yes to these questions, then you may be ready for the Marwen Lab Program, a course designed for Marwen's most dedicated students. With the personal guidance of expert teaching artists, Marwen Lab Artists have access to all of Marwen's studios and art-making resources. The Marwen Lab Program is designed to give you the opportunity to work closely with an experienced teaching artist to develop your own art-making techniques and concepts as you learn new ways of expressing yourself through your art. You will finish the school year having completed one or more projects for your portfolio and your work will be featured in a special exhibition in Marwen’s gallery!

The program meets on Fridays after school through the Fall, Winter and Spring terms; from October 1 through May 27 (with breaks between terms and over the holidays) and is for students in grades 10-12. If you have questions or need help with your application, please contact Katie Rodrigues at 312.944.2418 x219 or krodrigues@marwen.org.
