This site is a place where Marwen teaching artists, teaching assistants and staff can share resources, information and ideas related to teaching at Marwen and beyond. There are two main types of information available to you; course guidelines and resources and information specifically related to teaching at Marwen.

The guidelines have been created by Marwen Teaching Artists and are categorized by discipline. These guidelines should be used to assist you in planning curriculum, covering terms and techniques in class, and to utilize the same terminology as other teachers at Marwen. They are meant to provide you with a blueprint for creating a syllabus, inspiration for creation of new courses, and guidance for a Marwen-specific curriculum. Resources include tools, lists, links, charts, definitions, etc -- created or authored by experts, compiled by Teaching Artists, and categorized by discipline.

The Teaching at Marwen section contains a lot of helpful information about art education, child development, and classroom management that applies to all disciplines, as well as copies of important forms, calendars and staff contact information.
