PAPER CITY

Teaching Artist: Nazafarin Lotfi

Do you want to be an architect for couple of hours? Do you want to build a paper city? Do you want to make your favorite building using paper? Then come join us! You’ll explore different possibilities of creating new forms with construction paper and tape. You’ll fold and tape pieces of paper in different ways to make structures that contain architectonic elements and resemble buildings. By the end of the workshop you’ll create an installation of a city landscape using these structures.

COLLEGE BLUEPRINT PROGRAM II

Teaching Artist: Sarah Atlas

Get a jumpstart on the college process! In just three workshops, we’ll go through the college application process in-depth—researching schools, writing college essays, filling out applications and more. The more you do over the summer, the less you have to do your senior year! These workshops are open to all students going into their senior year, even if you did not take College Blueprint I.

In this one-day workshop you’ll have the opportunity to work with Burberry’s visual merchandiser and learn how to put together table displays and floor sets.  You’ll also have the chance to style your own mannequin with the top styles of Burberry. Please note that you will need to be at Marwen by 8am on August 1.
