From Rags to Drag: Sewing
Dive into the wonderful world of costumes, props, and performance! Borrowing from the disciplines of drag and theater, you will learn sewing, crafting, and performing techniques to support your creation of an original performance piece. At the end of the session you will have the opportunity to show off your skills in a drag and variety of other performances.

Mads Reardon is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary designer of wearables, performables, events, and above all: fantasy.
Mads leads their classes first and foremost with patience. Students of all ages require positive reinforcement as they venture into new skills and techniques and it is of utmost importance that he can deliver on the personalized instruction and attention that all students deserve. It is paramount to Mads that they always hold curiosity for their chosen medium and they stay open to learning from students as they share their unique perspectives.
