Laser Focus: Intro to Lasercutter
Sketch designs that express your creativity and turn them into cutting-edge digital art using a laser cutter! Whether engraving onto fabric or making a collection of jewelry, you will create moodboards and digitize designs in Adobe Illustrator, then cut your final projects on the laser cutter.

Sun Kawazoe (he/him) is a designer with a focus on testing the technological limits of laser cutters and 3D printers. He explores their qualities of accuracy and develops his own computerized expertise provided by this practice. He often ties in floral aspects as an ode to his mother, a florist allergic to pollen and a perpetual source of inspiration. Constantly pushing his experimentations, he puts pride into each project to make it representative of his style: clean, precise, and captivating.
