Teaching Artist
As a Teaching Artist, l o t i Walker partners with young people in a process where they contribute to setting the direction of the class, define creative success on their own terms, and hold themselves accountable to their creative vision, with guidance and support. The ability and willingness to persist through challenges, adapt, and keep moving forward is a vital part of creating art. Learning analog photography and how to print in the darkroom can be a bear! So l o t i celebrates effort, embracing mistakes, and honoring persistence.
