Jennie Harned (she/her) is motived every day by the young artists in her class. She believes that who they are, what they are experiencing, what they are thinking, what they want to question, advocate for, and are curious about are all worthy of the greater community’s time and attention. Finding that the more the students feel like the curriculum is about them, the more they want to dive in, student identity and agency is at the core of what they do.
