Marwen’s no-cost programs exist for young artists in Chicago who want to explore visual arts, can commit to a multi-week art class, are in 6th-12th grades during the 2025/26 school year, and do not have access to arts programming due to financial and systemic barriers. Learn more about our values and how we invest in the power of young artists.
Teach at Marwen!
Marwen is seeking exceptional practicing artists to design and teach visual arts courses for 6-12 graders from all across Chicago. We are looking for experienced Teaching Artists (TAs) with active practices aligned with the core values of creative youth development: youth voice, collective action, and social justice. We welcome proposals in all mediums, particularly ceramics, digital media, video, photography, fashion, painting, and comics.
