Teach at Marwen!
Marwen is seeking exceptional practicing artists to design and teach visual arts courses for 6-12 graders from all across Chicago. We are looking for experienced Teaching Artists (TAs) with active practices aligned with the core values of creative youth development: youth voice, collective action, and social justice. We welcome proposals in all mediums, particularly ceramics, digital media, video, photography, fashion, painting, and comics.

MARWEN LAB RESIDENCY 2024-2025
The Lab Residency is a year-long (Sept-Dec 2024 & January-May 2025) program that fosters a community of young artists developing independently-driven projects. Lab is open to young artists who are in 10-12th grades during the 2024-2025 school year. The residency is designed to help artists complete independent creative projects within a supportive peer community. Lab meets weekly on Friday evenings from 5-7:30 pm, September - May at Marwen, 833 N Orleans. Lab residents will receive a stipend per term to support their participation in the program.
