Marwen’s 2026 Spring Break Workshops

During CPS Spring Break, March 23-27, Marwen will offer FREE artmaking workshops designed and led by Marwen Emerging Teaching Artists to young people in grades 6-12. Experiment with drawing, fashion, printmaking, photography, and more!
Artmaking Workshops
Grades 6-12
10 AM – NOON & 1-3 PM
Marwen will host two-hour workshops where you can learn a variety of skills, collaborate with other young artists, and learn directly from a Chicago Emerging Teaching Artist. These workshops offer the chance to test out and immerse yourself in a variety of artistic practices!

Registration is required for all artmaking workshops and space is limited. Registration is open to all 6-12th grade students March 2-23. Confirmations will be emailed of your selected workshops within 2-3 business days. Questions? Reach out to us at vmallari@marwen.org or 312.374.2968.
Current Marwen Parents, please note that separate registration is required for Spring Break programs even if your young artist is a current Marwen student!
Arrival & Lunch break
Please check-in at the front desk before going to your studio. Workshops will be from 10:00am – 12:00pm, and 1:00pm – 3:00pm. If you have morning and afternoon workshops, please bring lunch. We will provide snacks.
Accessibility
Marwen’s facilities are fully accessible to students. Our three-story facility is equipped with elevators to promote access for any individual. Marwen is accessible by the brown and purple line train, and we have a free parking lot.
