John Lyons

John (he/him) first joined Marwen as a teaching artist in 2010. An Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and a teaching artist, he has been making films with students in the Chicago area for more than a decade. John has worked with young people in the Chicago Public School system, at various community arts centers, and with Snow City Arts -- an arts education organization dedicated to working with hospitalized children. He is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago.
