Victoria Timpo

Victoria (she/her) joined Marwen in summer 2016 as coordinator of studio programs. Timpo holds a BFA in painting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MFA in curatorial practice from MICA. In her practice she focuses on creating programs that highlight social justice issues and community outreach. She has worked on a range of notable projects and with a variety of organizations including the National Museum-Accra, the Foundation of Contemporary Art-Ghana, Art Institute of Chicago, the Refugee Youth Project, After School Matters, Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, and Alternatives, Inc.
